Description

Strain-dependent effects on neurobehavioral and seizure phenotypes in Scn2a K1422E mice

All data reported in the above entitled manuscript are contained in this  workbook.

Contents:

  • Sheet 1: Zero Maze
    • Raw data for all subjects evaluated using the zero maze assay
    • Subjects are identified by study number in column A
    • Sex information (M, F) is given in column B
    • Strain information (B6, F1D2) is given in column C
    • Genotype information (WT, E/+) is given in column D
    • Time spent in open arms (% of total trial time, 5 minutes) is given in column E
    • Total distance traveled (cm) is given in column F
    • ***rows in red indicate subjects that exited the maze and were excluded***
  • Sheet 2: Open Field
    • Raw data for all subjects evaluated using the open field assay
    • Subjects are identified by study number in column A
    • Sex information (M, F) is given in column B
    • Strain information (B6, F1D2) is given in column C
    • Genotype information (WT, E/+) is given in column D
    • Time spent in center zone (% of total trial time, 10 minutes) is given in column E
    • Total distance traveled (cm) is given in column F
  • Sheet 3: Kainic Acid Seizure Induction: Binned
    • Raw data reflecting highest seizure stage reached within 5 minute bins for all subjects following kainic acid administration
    • Subjects are identified by study number in column A
    • Sex information (M, F) is given in column B
    • Strain information (B6, F1D2) is given in column C
    • Genotype information (WT, E/+) is given in column D
    • Highest seizure stage (1-7) reached per 5 min time bin is given in columns E-AB
    • ***For columns E-AB, after a subject reaches stage 7 (death) all subsequent bins are scored as 7***
    • Legend for modified Racine scale stages is given in columns AD-AE
  • Sheet 4: Kainic Acid Seizure Induction: Latency
    • Raw data reflecting latency to first occurrence of each seizure stage for all subjects following kainic acid administration
    • Subjects are identified by study number in column A
    • Sex information (M, F) is given in column B
    • Strain information (B6, F1D2) is given in column C
    • Genotype information (WT, E/+) is given in column D
    • Latency (min) to each seizure stage is given in columns E-K
    • ***For columns E-K, a dash (-) indicates a subject did not reach that seizure stage in the 120 min trial period***
    • Legend for modified Racine scale stages is given in columns M-N
    • ***rows in red indicate subjects that died shortly after the 120 min trial period***
