Description

The purpose of this toolkit is to address the gap between research and practice in LGBTQ+ teen health services and programs. Although many interventions demonstrate effectiveness in research settings, organizations often face challenges implementing, sustaining, and adapting these programs in real-world environments. Reaching and engaging LGBTQ+ teens can be particularly complex due to barriers related to service access, privacy concerns, trust, stigma, and rapidly evolving digital platforms. This toolkit provides practical, evidence-informed strategies to help organizations design, implement, promote, and sustain health programs and digital innovations that are engaging, trustworthy, adaptable, and responsive to the needs of LGBTQ+ teens.
