Description
The patient, wounded by hand grenade fragments at Livergnano, Italy, sustained multiple wounds and fractures. After being treated by the 8th Evacuation Hospital, the patient was transferred to the 12th General Hospital where a secondary closure was performed and two drains and a Steinman pin were inserted. When the patient was taken out of traction, a Plaster of Paris spica cast was applied.
