Abstract

Next generation repositories are the foundation for globally networked scholarly communication. The Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR) recently released recommendations that outline the technologies, standards, and protocols needed to support their vision for next generation repositories. In this talk, we will discuss COARs recommendations, the use cases and behaviors of innovative and interactive repositories, and how little ideas can mean big things for our users.
