Abstract
Carbon Monitoring for Action (CARMA) was launched in 2007and is the first global inventory of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions for the energy sector. As a dataset, CARMA contains information about the carbon emissions of power companies worldwide. When used in conjunction with mapping software, CARMA provides the location, ownership and emissions of all the power plants in the world.Acknowledgements
